Unite Namory's Family: A Heartfelt Concert for a Cause Hits Portland This April

Portland, ME — April 19, 2025

Music, community, and compassion come together for a powerful purpose this spring at Unite Namory's Family: Concert for a Cause, a special benefit event hosted by L3gacy Studios and sponsored by Silver Therapeutics. The concert is dedicated to supporting beloved local drummer and educator Namory Keita, a member of the reggae band Catcha Vibe, as he works to reunite with his family.

All proceeds and donations from the event will go directly to Namory, helping to cover the significant costs of bringing his wife and three children from Guinea, Africa to join him here in Maine.

“This is more than a show—it’s a movement of love,” says Johnny Kelly from L3gacy Studios. “Namory has given so much to our community. Now it’s our turn to show up for him.”

The evening will feature a dynamic lineup of live performances from Maine’s diverse and vibrant music community, including Oystahgutt, Catcha Vibe, Daze Inn, PsydexPsyde and Sky Daddy. Alongside the music, guests can expect dance, an art auction and plenty of good vibes.

The first 20 guests through the door will receive special door prizes, and the night wraps up with a 420 raffle at midnight, offering unique giveaways and surprises.
